Date Difference Formula Explained
Step 1: Years = End Year – Start Year (adjusted for month/day)
Step 2: Months = Remaining months after full years
Step 3: Days = Remaining days after full months
Example: Start = 15 March 2021, End = 4 June 2026
Years: 2026 – 2021 = 5, but March 15 to June 4 means birthday not yet in year
→ actually 5 years, 2 months, 20 days
Total Days: (June 4, 2026 – March 15, 2021) = 1907 days
Total Weeks: 1907 ÷ 7 = 272 weeks + 3 days
Working Days: 1907 × 5/7 ≈ 1362 working days (approximate)
